East Meadow, NY……………NYS Assembly Deputy Speaker Earlene Hooper will announce a substantial grant for the Nassau University Medical Center through the Health Care Facility Transformation Funding Program. The funding, to better serve and improve access for NUMC’s underserved patients, will be used for capital infrastructure improvements and will enable NUMC to make much needed repairs to its 66 acre campus, including its 19 story, one million square foot hospital and facilities as well as provide capital improvements for certain clinical areas of the hospital.
