DAVID NEMIROFF, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF LIFQHC’S AND NQ PPS DSRIP, HONORED AT ROOSEVELT COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION GROUP’S FUNDRAISER

East Meadow, NY………..David Nemiroff, Executive Director for the Long Island Federally qualified Health Centers, Inc. and for the Nassau Queens PPS or the DSRIP program has been honored by the Roosevelt Community Revitalization Group, Inc. (RCRG) at a fundraiser celebrating the love and growth of Roosevelt,  on February 14, 2016 at the Coral House in Baldwin, NY. Mr. Nemiroff was the recipient of the Community Partnership Award.

 

“The Community Partnership Award, presented to David Nemiroff, is given to an individual that has shown continued support in furthering the goals and activities of the Roosevelt Revitalization Group, Inc. We are honored that he has accepted our award,” stated Mr. Jacob Dixon, Chairman Roosevelt Community Revitalization Group, Inc.

 

RCRG was established in 2008, with a mission to promote the community and economic revitalization of Roosevelt, focusing on improving the quality of life in the Roosevelt community through education, economic development and health and wellness. The members and partners of RCRG seek to serve as a beacon of leadership by utilizing diverse talents to create an environment where the residents are empowered to be self-sufficient shareholders in the economic and social fabric of the community.

Politi, MD, FACP, FACEP, NuHealth/NUMC’s President/CEO said: “Congratulations to David Nemiroff upon being the recipient of the RCRG Community Partnership Award for his efforts in improving the quality of life of Roosevelt’s community by providing better access and higher quality of health care for the patients of the Roosevelt Federally Qualified Health Center. It is a well-deserved award.”

 

All proceeds from the RCRG fundraiser will be dedicated to benefit the RCRG youth programs.

 

Upon accepting the award, Mr. Nemiroff indicated: “I am humbled and honored to be recognized by the RCRG, an important organization in the Roosevelt community leading the economic revitalization and improvements in the residents’ quality of life. I look forward to continue to work with the RCRG leadership in the years to come to further their mission.
