NASSAU COUNTY POLICE, FIRE DEPARTMENTS, EMS AND NUMC TO HOST EMERGENCY EBOLA TRAINING DRILL AND DEMONSTRATION TONIGHT
East Meadow, N.Y. (November 12, 2014) -Nassau University Medical Center President and CEO, Dr. Victor F. Politi and East Meadow Fire Department Chief Robert Salvesen will join police officials and EMS in a Ebola safety drill being held Tonight, Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 7:30pm Ambulances along with infectious disease medical personnel will be dressed in protective gear to demonstrate a practice Ebola medical emergency. Local fire fighters and hospital workers will respond to the health and safety of Nassau County residents in a test simulation of an Ebola outbreak on Long Island. The drill take place at the Nassau University Medical Center located at 2201 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow, NY 11554
