NASSAU UNIVERSITY MEDICAL OFFICIALS TO DISCUSS FLU TREATMENTS AFTER LOCAL ELEMENTARY OUTBREAK
East Meadow, N.Y. (December 17, 2014) -Nassau University Medical Center President and CEO, Dr. Victor F. Politi, MD, FACP, FACEP, and infectious disease experts will be available to discuss treatments for children suffering with the flu TODAY Wednesday, December 17 2014 at 2pm at Nassau University Medical Center at 2201 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow, NY. There has been a recent increase of children visiting the emergency room with cases of the flu. A local elementary school had 10 cases of students infected with influenza 53 children in the district were sick Monday, in addition to another 53 on Friday and 39 the day before.
