NEW YORK’S LEADING HOCKEY TEAM, THE ISLANDERS, TO VISIT PEDIATRIC PATIENTS AT NASSAU UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER
East Meadow, NY- New York Islander’s Ryan Strome, Josh Bailey, Nick Leddy, Thomas Hickey and Brock Nelson will help bring holiday cheer to the pediatric patients at Nassau University Medical Center on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Young patients will have the opportunity to spend time with the players, as well as receive toys from their local heroes.
Currently the Islanders are one of the strongest teams in New York sports. Ranked second in the Metropolitan division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League, they are based just a few miles away from the hospital, in Uniondale.
