East Meadow, NY…………Victor F. Politi, MD, FACP, FACEP, NuHealth/NUMC’s President/CEO congratulates the staff of its five LI Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) as they celebrate National Health Center Week on August 10 to 16, 2015. “You are to be commended for your dedication to all our patients, for being a proud recipient of NCQA’s Patient Centered Medical Home and for providing increased access to affordable, cost effective and high quality care, at our FQHCs in Hempstead, Westbury, Elmont, Roosevelt and Freeport,” stated Dr. Politi. “Our health centers serving as critical economic local engines for healthier communities, help to power local economies and will hold Open House/Health Fairs, one afternoon each at Elmont, Hempstead, Westbury, Freeport and Roosevelt health centers during the week of August 10th.”
